Before applying Flex Caulk, be sure all previous caulk is removed from the surface. Scrape it off with a tool that won’t harm the surface, like a plastic putty knife. After removing, clean the surface of dirt, oil, grease, and debris. Flex Caulk can be applied to wet or damp surfaces, but dry surfaces are ideal.
